Navigating Shared Spaces

Overview of sharing capabilities and collaboration benefits
Criya offers a streamlined platform for collaboration and content sharing. Users can effortlessly exchange ideas, documents, and media with one another. It enhances communication and teamwork by providing a centralized hub where users can access content shared by others.

With CRIYA for TEAMS, you can share your content - from individual pages and assets to complete spaces with your organization. You can allow your teammate to edit certain pages or only provide view-only access for any company relevant information such as Sales playbooks or internal product content.

Shared with me Spaces:

On the TEAMS plan, you will see the "Shared with me" space enabled for you.

If anyone has shared any content with you, you will get to see it here.

Here you can search for pages and assets across all spaces shared with you. You will also get to view and edit these individual assets based on the permissions with which they have been shared.

Inside a shared space, you can view all the pages and assets that have been shared with them.

Access and Edit Permissions for Shared Content

The owner of any page or uploaded file can choose to set the permissions of content when it is shared with you. These are controlled at an individual asset level. You can read more about how you can set permissions for these individual assets under "Sharing Content with your team".

Based on the permissions, below are the 3 ways in which you can access the content

1. IN-APP VIEW ONLY: 

This is always available for all content that has been shared with you. By clicking on the "criya" button you will be able to view any shared content as long as you are logged into the Criya app.

All your activity is tracked for analytics visible to the owner.

2. IN-APP EDIT + VIEW ONLY

This is available for all content that has been shared with you with the "Edit access". You will know this when the "Edit" pencil is clickable. By clicking on the "Edit pencil" button you will be able to open the page in the page builder and make edits within the Criya app.

3. PUBLIC VIEW

This exposes the public URL for this asset, and is available for all content that has been shared with you that has the PUBLIC setting . By clicking on the "Visit" button you will be able to open the actual page URL.

4. DUPLICATE

This is always available for all content that has been shared with you. By clicking on the "duplicate" button you will be able to duplicate this exact asset into your own workspace for any shared content as long as you are logged into the Criya app.
